As we were able t o inspect more of the system and to conduct closer inspections of the components, we learned that the damage was more extensive than we believed on March 17.
Due to the damage and despite our best efforts, deliveries have been limited. We will continue to inspect, assess, and repair if feasible the damaged parts of the system. Service will continue to be limited or interrupted during this period.

Our water delivery system sustained significant damage to critical components from a Kona Low Storm System that impacted the island of Maui from March 10 through March 15. As a result, we are informing users receiving water deliveries through our system that service will be limited and/or interrupted until further notice.
The storm event was beyond our control and impacted the diversions, siphons and ditches required to allow us to deliver water reliably. We are actively assessing the extent of the damage and are mobilizing the resources to make repairs where possible. However, those efforts may be hampered or delayed due to continuing storm conditions that impact the safety of our crew.
